Lulzim Hoti is known as a cultural manager and artist who works in the interethnic divided city of Mitrovica, Kosovo. He studied literature and continued studying organizational culture and has worked as trainer for essential skills, operational manager, and teacher at Kosovo Leadership Academy. He is curating public spaces by using arts and innovative ideas with hope to make a better life for all communities. He is founder and director of 7Arte organization, by promoting artists and a common European culture.

“Balkans communities need to heal from the past and start knowing each-other’s challenges and needs. The region should be able to open borders and provide opportunities for cooperation within youth no matter their ethnical background. There is a lot of potential for sustainable development, with focus on innovation, agriculture and cultrual tourism.”

7 ARTE

7Arte was established in 2006 by a group of artists in Mitrovica, Kosovo. For a decade 7Arte organizes multidisciplinary cultural activities such as: audio-visual workshops, music festivals, outdoor screening, street art, poetry nights, crafts fair, exchange programs and environmental actions. 7Arte involves citizens in project development for environmental protection, for the revitalization of abandoned buildings and to have impact on local cultural politics.
